Hi! Welcome to the Wayde Carroll Photography website.
I am a digital photographer based in Anchorage, Alaska where I live with my beautiful wife and our two amazing children. I specialize in editorial assignment and stock photography.

After receiving a B.A. in Art with an emphasis in photography from San Jose State University in 1993, I fled to Alaska to hone my photographic skills. I spent a year documenting the lives of the Yupiit people in the village of Eek, then two years assisting some of Anchorage’s top photographers such as Clark James Mishler and Tom Bol. After returning to California, I began assisting award-winning photographer Keith Sutter in Auburn, California.

For the past six years, I have been regularly published in numerous magazines including California Tour and Travel, Sierra Heritage, Sierra Alive, Sierra Outdoor Recreation, The Sacramento Bee’s “Discover” magazine series, The Milepost, The Union newspaper, Nevada County Gold Magazine, the Northern Gold Country Parents’ Resource Guide, as well as numerous county visitor’s guides. My love for discovering new places and providing fresh looks for familiar ones has kept clients coming back again and again.

For over five years, I have taken great pleasure in applying my vision to wedding photography as well. My unobtrusive style and willingness to collaborate with my clients has earned me referral after referral. I take great pride in my work and want nothing more than to exceed my clients’ expectations.
